Powell tree west riding Yorkshire

Hi peeps I'm doing friends tree for him,
I've got far as George Powell, west riding Yorkshire, I know he was in duke of wellington west riders regiment, he received silver cross for honourable discharge from ww1, also doing some research his son Norman married Irene C Clark, now after some clever detective work I found electrol records for 1947-1959, most of which were George with an Olive Powell, but then Irene C Powell was with them one year which make me thinks I'm on right track, so I was going with George wife being Olive someone, found a marriage for George and Olive Booth, cross checked with a birth record for Norman who has mothers maiden name as Booth! So I think I'm on right track, now I think I've found George's father Henry Powell, I'll provide d.o.bs next, I just need opinions from you guys if you think I'm on right track please?
