Dear Elly,

Thank you again :) but what I am tring to find are records prior to 1901 so right at this time this link won't help :'( . I am not even sure if you found a link that it would really help me. You see what I have is a certificate of marriage to my great grandparent but it did not give dates of birth, or where, or mothers names so I was just hoping I would find more information on one of your links.

I bet this is really frustrating for you! :(

I'm not sure if I will be able to find a site that can provide you with the info you require....but I won't give up...lol.

I'll have a word with some of my contacts from other sites & see if they know where to look. What does the cert actually say?

Hiya Joyce,

I am a member of another forum site -

www.Rootschat.com

If you register with this site, then search the Scottish thread, look under Montgomeryshire, they have lists of links for the area under 'resources', but they also offer 'look-ups'.......it might be worth a try O0
