Hi Everyone, I have found out that my great great grandparentswere living in Bold St. Prescot has anyone any idea how I can find out my great great gran"s maiden Name. The family were called James & Mary Donnelly. Also on the censuses I have checked on RootsUK the writing is almost illegible any ideas on that? James must have died between 1854 and 1860 because according to the 1861 Census Mary and the kids were living in Bolton with a fellow whose name I can"t make out so I can"t find out when Mary died how can I find her new married name? I just want to say I think this is a fantastic site and many thanks to Juliefor her reply to my Calcutta Connection :) ,

Hi Littlemo,
I am guessing that you have James and Mary on the 1851 census in Prescot.
Could you let me know when and where they were born, also the names of the children and I will have a look to see if I can find anything.
Jane
