Were you thinking that Lloyd and June were siblings?

Claude's obit doesnt name June as a child. Lloyd is mentioned as are the other kids.

He leaves a wife, 3 sons Claude (Steathfield), Lloyd (Ryde), Darrell 'Mick' (Picton), 2 daughters, Doreen (Mrs. Rix, of Camden) and Pearl (Mrs, Copeman at Picton) and six grandchildren.

Re: Albert William TUCKER

Don't know why he would have needed to but seems Lloyd gave a different dob when he enlisted.

I presume the brass plaque for June is correct.

1943 NSW Electoral Roll - Warringah - Manly
PRIOR Dorothy Edna, 24 Bower street, home duties
PRIOR June Winsome, 24 Bower street, public servant

Hmmmmmmmmm.

Is there a huge mistake in my tree?

Re: Albert William TUCKER

Thank you gibbo.

That is a huge error.

Two different Prior families. Not brother and sister. Claude A and Claude E.

Camden News (NSW : 1895 - 1954) - Thursday 10 December 1942 p.2
PRIOR - FURNER.
The Camden Methodist Church was beautifully decorated with white November lilies and gladioli for the wedding of Miss Marjory Beatrice Furner and L/Cpl. Lloyd Hilton Prior on Saturday afternoon last, 5th December. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. G. Watkin Furner, great uncle of the bride. The contracting parties are both well known local citizens, the bride, the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Furner, of Wondonga, Menangle Road. Camden, and the bridegroom, second son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Prior, of Picton.

Re: Albert William TUCKER

Not sure how I got it so mixed up.

Did a lot of work today with Geoff and Val on the Wright and Walton families which no longer belong.

Well I'd better start the search for the details of Lloyd's parents.

This fits with Ryde for Lloyd. Don't know where his middle name comes from yet.

1949 NSW Electoral Roll - Bennelong - Gladesville
PRIOR Lloyd Hilton, 43 Frederick street, Ryde, assistant manager
PRIOR Marjory Beatrice, 43 Frederick street, Ryde, home duties
