I'm looking for a prison record from the 1960s. I know she was at Holloway prison but i can't find any access to her record. She is my grandads sister so i'm trying to find out more about her for my family tree.

If anyone knows how to get access to prison records that date from this time then please help x thanks x

Hi Octavii,

I dont think prison records from the 1960's would be available to view though I could be wrong (due to disclosure). You could try the National Archives at Kew and see what information they have (see link below). Other than that it may have been reported in one of the newspapers, heres another link to the Times Digital Archive you might find something in there. A local studies centre/library may hold a local newspaper that may have had a story about it.
