Hello,

Is anyone else having problems connecting to familysearch.org ?

I've had no access for three days and I can't find any obvious reason for the problem.

My ISP says the site seems to be down but I said as far as I knew it was not down.

Yes.

It will be interesting to see if I can find another member here who also uses iinet and they too have problems.

That feather duster of Steve's gets everywhere Dave.:)
Have you tried accessing the site afresh from a search engine instead of your favourites/bookmarks? No idea why but sometimes that's worked for me with similar problems.

Thanks but same:

Error 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out.

I've reset the modem and tried with the firewall off and still no go.

No, I'd rather you emailed Tim Tams. :2fun:

I only buy them when they are on special and they were today. ;)

I have many years computer experience but this problem stumps me.

I've done all the usual very technical things like reset the router and try different DNS server settings, check MTU, ping the site, try with firewall off, try 3 diff browsers...

Ok, Woody.

It's a mystery to me.

I've checked the site is not on the blocked list.

I've checked that I'm accepting cookies. :2fun:
