Hi
And thank you for letting me join your forum .

I am using Family Tree Maker 2012 and the problem I have is that when I have a Female that is married again I am not able to give 2 surnames in her 1st and 2nd marriage ,ie Joan Smith married Mr jones so she becomes Joan Jones and they had 1 child , then Joan jones gets married to a Mr binns so she becomes Joan Binns and they had 1 child , but I am not able to put 2 different names for her 1st and 2nd marriages !! .

cheers

Not to sure why you want to do that!
In your question Mr Jones marries Miss Smith then the children will be Jones.
Mrs Jones then marries Mr Binns and the children will be Binns.
But she will always in the tree be Miss Smith with 2 spouses.
The only other time I would use the married name would be in a search on the census.

If you changed her name due to the marriage you wouldn't be able to follow her family back if you follow my drift!
