No Ruth HILL in 1903 & 1905. One Ruth in 1908 but not with a Henry HILL.

There are (9) Henry HILL in 1903. (9) 1905. (7) in 1908.

So my answer is HELP!! Have no idea. Can't even find their son James Bennett HILL.

cheers

Hello crankypants,

Thank you very much. I also searched for son James Bennett and so far have found nothing. Sorry, at the moment I have no idea what happened to Henry & Ruth. Even those researching BALE, ROPER & SLAUGHTER families have no idea. No marriage or death for any of the three children. Alien abduction :D

I can't find the HILL-TRIGG marriage or the family in shipping records.

Hello crankypants,

Ruth and Benjamin BALE were the last two born in England. Sibling Benjamin Robert was born about 1850 in Brisbane.

I wonder if Ruth & Henry and Benjamin & Georgina went back to England

Dave

Hello crankypants,

I can't find the death of Henry or the burial of either of them. It actually does not say that Ruth died in Tasmania.

I've also searched again for Benjamin & Georgina without luck.

Regards,

Dave

Hi Dave

All four are a mystery.:(

I'm scratching my head why Benjamin & Georgina BALE appear only in the 1905 QLD E/R and nothing after. They’re in their late fifties so would they have moved away. Searched the U.K Incoming Passengers and no luck. Also no luck with deaths in the U.K.

Hello crankypants,

Thanks. Ok, I'll send an email off to Peter. Still a bit curious why his tree only has 4 of the 11 BALE children of John & Hannah.

That's it for this topic. Where do we go next ? :D :D

Regards,

Dave

Hello crankypants,

Benjamin was born in 1847 and I have not birth for Georgeina/Georgina.

Now I can't find a death for either of them in NZ. The one Georgina BALE who died in 1942 was born about 1873. Ok, I take that back :D It could be her since the marriage was in 1895. That changes the search for her birth.

Dave

Hello crankypants,

Births in NZ
1873/8041 McKay Georgina Janet b. 26 Sep 1873 Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ d. 2 Mar 1874 Alexander & Mary GRAY
1874/8739 McKay Georgina Rebecca
1875/6609 McKay Georgina - Mary Alexander b. 7 Feb 1875 Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ d. 4 May 1875 Alexander & Mary GREY

Privately submitted IGI entries. It would explain why they went to NZ if that is her born in 1874.

Regards,

Dave

Hello crankypants,

Death
1895/C0378 Bale Benjamin James Benjamin Bale Georgina McKay

It supports the theory it is McKAY not MACKAY. But, no middle name Rebecca in E/R or other records. And, why name another daughter Georgina if the one born 1874 had not died? Perhaps the one born 1874 died in 1875 and the one born 1875 with no middle name is the right one but then that's 2 years out with age at death ?? Also it's not my typo -the names were listed as GRAY & GREY.

Regards,

Dave
