Hello crankypants,

I can't see William in the shipping record.

Emma remarried but her death can't be found.

They both married a SLAUGHTER. :D I'm keeping them until next year. :D

Dave

Hi Dave

Yes I did see the SLAUGHTER name when searching shipping on NLA.

Next year I could be in rehab.:D:D:2fun::2fun:>:D:'( Actually I think DE FRAINE will tip me over the edge.

The problem finding William with all the variants in his surname it could be under god knows what.

cheers

Hello crankypants,

Thanks for looking. Yes the name is a pain. This is the only thing keeping me sane. Fred's not to blame. And I'm lame. ;)

The name is as bad as le CLERC, le CLERCQ, le CLERQ... That one has not been solved either.

Hello crankypants,

Thanks for looking. I'm not really sure. I think the marriage was in Queensland and must have been after 1939 because it's not on the fiche or not registered or missing or another state of reality.

I'm not sure if it is YOUNG or PORTER-YOUNG or if he is from Victoria where I see lots of P middle initials.

Annie Elizabeth LEDLIE aged about 2 years:

http://maps.bonzle.com/c/a?a=pic&fn=vyifqv77&s=4

EDIT: Found only one reference in Queensland and it must be to the clergyman:

Capricorn Coast Presbyterian Church - Home
Title: Today I rise and call on God
Author: Translation by W Porter-Young 1904-
Copyright: William Porter-Young
Song ID: Rej-093
Hymnal:
Notes:
PlayOrder:

I think that is too much of a co-incidence that he and Annie were both born in 1904.

Regards,

Dave
