Quinan, and mother of Mrs, John Laird, Gawler, Mrs. James Purves, Victoria, and Robert and Arthur Quinan , W. A., and sister in-law of Lady - Ribton, Henry and Dr. E.Quinan, Dublin, Ireland. Dublin papers please copy.

Robert Quinan = There is a unknown male birth but dont know if that is Robert or Arthur.

The mother of the kids had been married previously, name then Heminsley. Shackcloth been her maiden name.

Can we find a birth for Emily Caroline and for the other boy? All kids born VIC.

Her mother split with her first husband around that time and hooked up with Quinan but they didnt marry until 1861.

I Emma Quinan, widow of the deceased, deposed as follows: — The deceased was my husband. His age was forty-nine years. He was a schoolmaster at Dromana. He has left four children . etc

Dont know where Robert and Arthur died, apparently they were both in WA for a while but i have been unable to find a death for them that im comfortable with.

Looks like a few of the births werent registered. Aunt said not to do to much on it as its only a side line on what she is working on. I looked at this one a couple of years ago [another forum] and they found some info on kids but we know there were only 4 and the other forum had found more than that. To expensive to buy that many cert.
