RR usually means a relative in the colony and a deposit journal ??

There is no second reel that would list her parents and name of any relative in the colony.

CofE and age probably rule out the 1860 one, also no sisters on board.

If that is the wrong one then a marriage and a death to rule her out ?

Baptisms have Henry a Cpl in 21st Reg of Foot. By 1841 in India he is a Sergeant.

Need to trace movements of the regiment.

In Sep 1831 the regiment moved from Dublin to Warrington, Lancashire.

The 21st Foot went out to Australia in detachments in charge of convicts sent to the Australian colonies between 1832 and 1833. It was then stationed in Tasmania, with detachments in Perth and Swan River in Western Australia until 1839, when it proceeded to India.

In India the 21st Foot was stationed in Kamptee in the Madras Presidency during the Sikh invasion of 1845, when it was ordered to the North-West Provinces. The regiment arrived at Agra on 7 Feb 1846, having marched the previous 34 days without a break. The regiment returned home in 1848. In Jun 1853, the 21st Foot went to Ireland, sailing from Hull to Dublin.

'Jane' 1833
'Norval' 1833

I can't find the vessel Henry arrived on.

I can't find Margaret or Rachel in 1851 English census.

Discharge and death for Henry?
