No death for a Mary McGregor at East or West Maitland in NSW index.

I can't find a tree that helps with Mary's death.

Thanks gibbo.

A bit curious. In 1875 he was described as Government Officer Dublin Ireland.

I don't have his arrival so he may have arrived as guard on a convict ship?

Hartley and Maitland and two different occupations.

Arrival of Katherine Maria McGregor would help. Born abt 1848 and in NSW by 1875.

The marriage notice says West Maitland. So he moved from Hartley after the 1862 deaths.

If one family then arrival has to be 1848 - 1851. Nothing on Assisted to NSW that fits.

Probably, that's why I said two different occupations. But the other marriage also CofE at Yass.

Maybe the 1851 baptism will help. Should have occupation and might have Mary's maiden name.

No ships with convict guards of the 4th Reg arrived 1848 - 1851.
