My research curtails the areas of Derbyshire, Hants, and Wales for some.

Ripley; Codnor & Loscoe, Derby. Gill, Stanley surnames in derby.
Woolston, Sholing, Southampton, Hants. Hinton, Parker in Hants.

Would like to find an e-mail address for John Evan or Evans (he went by both). Played Keyboards and organ for Jethro Tull back in the 70s. Met his mother once and a cousin of my mothers.

Nice looking site so far.

Hi, I live in what was part of Derbyshire and is now part of city of Sheffield now. Some of my husband's family were Gills in this area ie Norton and Greenhill. Gill is a pretty common name though. Where are your Gills from?

I notice that you are looking for Parker in Hants my Grand mother was Annie Parker born in Weston Hants. Weston is on the banks of the Solent Her parents were Thomas Parker and Agnes Cozens. There are several threads about these families on this site. Let me know if you think that we may be related. Let me know if you want more information aout the Parkers that I am related to.
