Hi everyone,
I'm Daniel Harrowven, never used this type of site before but after learning about relatives who fought in the Great War I decided to try and trace my family.
I've got back to 1861, but I think that my surname only came into existence after a miss-spelling of a Dutch name when my lot got off the boat in Norfolk.

Hope to hear about interesting people from all members on the site

Your family were well established in Norfolk before 1861. You will have seen Eliza aged 73 was on the 1881 census as Thomas's mother, born Heigham
