Read the info?

I don't know if its just me but some people just do not read what info they have!
On Atree there are lots of trees that have 'father or mother unknown' but have a link to a marriage cert which has the fathers name listed.
Do these people not consider going as far back as possible!
I am of the other persuasion and am inclined to put to much - in fact putting too much can make back tracking almost impossible!

Are these trees private, or open. Have you contacted the owner/s.

They may have reasons for not naming them, or entering information.

At the end of day, it's their tree to do what they want with it, good or bad. There are many, many trees that are just copies of others trees, which maybe wrong.
