Marriages
8841/1925 HANCOCK REGINALD J T - MORRIS MARJORY C - BOWRAL
7953/1918 HANCOCK REGINALD C - ROPER MADOLINE - BALMAIN NORTH

One of them possibly had a daughter Olive. Neither Bowral or Balmain really fit so it may be neither of those marriages.

Fishing with Olive's birth after July 1918 - close of NSW index.

HANCOCK— ROPER
At St. John's, Balmain, a military wedding was celebrated by the Rev. Mr. Manning, the church being decorated with white flowers, and service fully choral, when Corporal R. G. Hancock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hancock, of "Alva," Drummoyne, was married to Miss Madoline Roper, daughter of the late Mr. R. F. Roper and Mrs. Roper, Balmain. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Captain C. G. Roper, wore a charming gown of lace over pink georgette, with veil and wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses, carnations, and sweet peas tied with- streamers of the 8th: Field Ambulance and 1st Battalion, the colors of the bridegroom and the bride's brother, Noel C. Roper, on active service. The bridesmaids were Misses . Stella Pearson, Alice Hancock, and little Jessie Roper, niece of the bride. Mrs. Roper received the guests at Sargent's, George-street, where the wedding dinner was held. Mr and Mrs R.C. Hancock left for the mountains, the bride travelling in a cream tailored gabardine costume.

JENNINGS Raymond Arthur Death notice 03SEP2008 Death 87 at Wagga Wagga, late of Coolamon Wagga Wagga Daily Advertiser 04SEP2008

Raymond Arthur Jennings Death: Sep. 3, 2008 Birth: Feb. 12, 1921 COOLAMON LAWN, portn, sect I, grv 11

Don't know when I'll be free to visit the State Library to look for that death notice.

Bowral, Balmain and Ballina. None would hint towards Coolamon/Wagga.

The top one is the older Coolamon Cemetery database. And no Olive who fits in Ryerson.

After I found the marriage and got the details for Dorothy the cemetery database had changed format.

There is no Olive Jennings in the database.

Perhaps better to move this topic. Could still be living. ??

I may also have assumed something that ends up being wrong.

No sign of a birth notice in NSW in Trove 1920 - 1926 that fits for Olive that I could see.

3x Hancock in Coolamon.

HANCOCK JANE ISABELLA F ########### 4/01/1982 85:04 COOLAMON LAWN B 09
HANCOCK OLIVER WILMOT M ########### 30/06/1980 88:08 COOLAMON LAWN B 09

Marriage 1058/1921 HANCOCK OLIVER W - GOLDSWORTHY JANE I - JUNEE

Reginald Leslie born 1919 can't fit there.

Oliver and Jane not in Ryerson. May not be any death notice that mentions children.

No Olive Jane in 1943 rolls. Next one in index is 1949 which is too late.

Coolamon Cemetery with another new format.

Date 30 Jan 2018 - no Olive Jane Jennings.

I'm guessing with Oliver and Jane that daughter was named Olive Jane. Then guessing 'Reg' is a brother.

Not in Ryerson so don't know if it's worth searching Wagga newspapers in the State Library for a death notice.

Death HANCOCK OLIVER WILMOT 15409/1980 ARTHUR JAMES EMMA * 30 Jun

Death HANCOCK JANE ISABELLA 2294/1982 JOHN HENRY ELIZABETH EMMA * 4 Jan

A good find. I have 5x E Furner so not yet sure where Shirley June fits. She is not in my tree index.

I hope "Greenbank" is enough of a clue.
