You have any idea of how old he was when he died? Did he marry maybe a marriage notice might have something. But then you probably checked all that already :biggrin:

Yes, he did marry but I can't find the notice in TROVE. Annie was born in 1913.

I can't find a service record.

I checked for Reginald James in NSW, Vic. and Tas. and only found 1929 + ref in NSW to a criminal case.

I just checked all Vic. newspapers and put in Alice Jane Morton and got one hit.


I can't see the marriage or birth in Qld., NSW or Vic. BMD or England.

E/R in Vic. start at 1903 and I can't find either of them until 1930 in NSW.
