The Royal British Legion UK have limited the issue of tickets to this year's event to 2,200
and each organisation has been given just 8 tickets each. The Poppy Appeal that I have
been involved with is not going ahead this year either, Just thought this was worth mentioning.

So donations to the appeal will be online, and only at other high street oulets, is that correct Brian.

The shops, pubs and restaurants will still get their boxes of paper poppies and a can. I stood at the entrance
of my local supermarket with a table that had loads of other items, such as the poppy for the cars, things
more for children, and we had a machine that took pre-determined amounts.
There were times when there could be 6 people all wanting to see what was on offer and that can't be done
at this time. However, this is what is happening in my town. Some places may be better suited to doing

Just a case of spreading the word Brian, as some people my not be aware of some of the restrictions imposed in their area, wherever that may be.
Anyway Brian, I will think that everyone here wishes you the best, despite this rather annoying setback.
