Researching George Cozens and Florinda Yawl

I am looking for information about my great great grandfather George Pike Cozens and the racing yawl that I believe he captained, the Florinda.

I hope there may be more great great grandchildren of George on this forum, please introduce yourselves.

We were very lucky to have been able to visit the maritime museum and see the original model of the Florinda and we are now having a copy of the model built ourselves. We would also like to write a book about her and Captain Cozens, we would be grateful for any information that anyone can supply.

We have a few things from the boat - i.e. cutlery and a teapot and I know there are other things around - we recently saw a pair of binoculars from the Florinda on an auction site but unfortunately we missed them! If you have any items from the Florinda we would be grateful for photos to include.

We will of course credit any information/photos and will be happy to give you a copy of the final book.

Attached are some photos we took of the original model built in 1873 at the same time as the full size one.
