Researching Great x 3 grandmother

Hi,
I am trying to find family details for my great x 3 grandmother. The UK census records of 1871 and 1881 state she was born in Halifax, North America. I know her father and sister's names. How do I find more info on her. Thanks for any help or advice you can give me.

There should also be a record of her immigration to Britian either on Ancestery or Findmypast both fee paying sites .Or gives us more details .
