Rev. Robert Newton 1525

Hello All,

I am currently working on my family tree and am now in the 1500s and stuck on the name Rev. Robert Newton (1525). I am building my tree on Ancestry.com (which does not seem all that reliable) and have an Edward Pendleton II (1569) married to an Anne Newton (1551) who is supposedly the daughter of Robert Newton and Unknown. As I do not trust Ancestry.com I've been looking elsewhere for documentation corroborating these facts and can't find any.

If anyone has any sourced information I would be very grateful.

Welcome to the forum, where abouts are we looking for Anne and Robert Newton?? I couldn't find any entries for a Robert Newton that early on FMP, but a county could be a clue.
