Hi, I have another puzzle for you, this time it involves a marraige and death in USA. I have searched ancestry but cant find either so looking for some help from people who may have access to other resources if possible please?
Richards Charles Bourdette ( sometimes known as charles, and his surname has multiples spellings).
Born 1850 New york. Father Edward Bourdette Born New York (1804-1882) and Mother Susan (unknown) possibly from NY but on one census said his mother cane from ireland!
Susan (1826 to 1870) Edwards second wife who he married in 1849 approx his first wife being Mary A Thomas 1808-1848 ). There were. various children from both marriages, with Richard being the eldest from the second.
Anyway Richard married Nancy J? In 1878 approx. I know nothing about Nancy excpet she was born around 1838, so older than him and according to the census she was from illinois.
So I am looking for a marraige for Richard and Nancy J, plus any other info about Nancy.
Nancy disappears sometime between 1900 and 1906 when Richard goes to Cuba and married my gg Aunt Sophia Ives Tompkins a widow.
Richard dies 17/2/1931 in La Gloria Cuba.
Any help woth regards to Richards first wife Nancy would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Karen x

I see what you mean, Nancy last seen in 1900 census with Charles. Can't see a death in the U.S.

You might want to search here checking the multiple spellings
