I wonder if any kind soul could help me with my quest to find 3 ancestor siblings of mine. Richard Taylor born 1829 in Wimbish, Essex, Charlotte Taylor born 1831 in Wimbish, Essex and Allen Taylor born 1837 in Wimbish.
All were born to Allen Taylor and Rebecca Coe. Rebecca died in 1841 and Allen Snr died in 1877 aged 87.
Richard Taylor and his sister Charlotte are last on the 1841 census in Saffron Walden aged 12 and 10 respectively. I cannot for the life of me find a death or marriage record for the two locally or find them on any subsequent censuses.
Allen Taylor born 1837 is last seen on the 1861 census in Bourn, Cambridgeshire aged 24 with his father Allen. After that he vanishes.
Did they emigrate? Where to? Aus, Canada, USA, NZ, South Africa, British India?? I dont have a sub to view non UK records on Ancestree and would appreciate some help in finding what happened to them.
They had a sister Harriett born 1833 in Wimbish who also vanished in 1866 as she stopped appearing in Saffron Walden ratebooks after then and I cannot find a marriage or death for her that would seem likely.
