Hello I'm looking for the birth date of my G uncle Robert Edwards in the 1911 census they have him born 1894 I'm hoping to find out what date and month, he was missing/killed in WWI I might have a better chance Of finding him. He was born in Birkenhead Cheshire ,parents Robert Edwards & Annie.

According to the Parish Register he was born 20 June and baptised 5 August 1894. Address 2 Berry Street, Birkenhead. Father's occupation a Shunter.

Hi Janet - His baptism records state when he was born - luckily the clergyman wrote it in the margin for all the baptisms. Born June 20, 1894, Baptised Aug 5th Robert to Robert and Annie Edwards, 2 Berry Street, Birkenhead. Baptised at St Peters. Occupation Shunter. Self explanatory but the list of old occupations describes it as SHUNTER One who moved rolling stock around the railway yards. Hope that helps. Findmypast has the baptism.
