Well if he was still alive when they arrived he went to church on the 8th Sept.

The Sydney Herald (NSW : 1831 - 1842)
Thursday 8 September 1836

The prisoners of the Moffatt will attend Divine Service at St. James' Church, this
morning, previously to their proceeding to their several destinations ; when a sermon will be delivered by the Bishop of Australia. The service begins at eleven o'clock.

Not sure if we've seen this

Robert Haylock
Age: 24
Date of Conviction: 21 Oct 1835
Place of Conviction: Cambridge
Estimated birth year: abt 1811
Vessel: Moffatt (2)
Port of Arrival: New South Wales
Date of Arrival: 30 Aug 1836

The image has a written note, looks like 'free something 1842 something letter etc'

If that is what it says, it would fit with the 7yrs he received in 1835.

Image 2 is an example taken from further down the page..

Yeah. I read the wrong image and then could not read the month on the right image.

I'm feeling marginally better than I did a week ago. I think I have another week on anti-biotics. Blood test says severe infection and doctor can't guess where it might be.
