Hello,

Robert MALCOLM b. abt 1794 Paisley, Renfrew - parents Robert MALCOLM & Jean PORTERFIELD

Elizabeth DAVIDSON b. Paisley, Renfrew (I can see two possibles)

Married about 1820 but marriage said not to be in OPR.

Their first few children were born in Paisley before moving to Glasgow. Neither Robert Snr or Jnr's marriage appear in the OPR records and none of their children...
Did they both die before 1841? I can't find then in 1841 or 1851.

Regards,

Dave

Hello Barbara,

Thanks. I don't have the names of the other children so they are no help.

It will have to wait until I get back. I'm off to the Southern Highlands in a few minutes for two days.

Regards,

Dave

Hello Woody,

The Southern 'Highlands' are a huge 700m above sea level. :2fun:

There and in the "Blue Mountains" west of Sydney at the old hotels and old manor houses there is now a tradition for a "Christmas in July" food festival. The trip included that and visits to some National parks and some heritage towns such as Berrima.

Hello Barbara,

I think that Robert is worth following. Age, occupation and pob certainly fit.

I've already got 8 deaths in my new list for SP. :) I guess Robert's will be next when it's narrowed down.

Regards,

Dave
