Robert McQUEEN aged 16 apprenticed as a seaman in Glasgow in 1845. Born Paisley and consecutive Ticket No to Samuel ANGEL. They travelled on same vessels out of Greenock for 2 to 3 years ??

There is this, but it is in what looks to be High Church area, i.e. N of High Street and Causeyside Street. Perhaps one of our Scottish members will put me right if there is an error.

That's curious. It's not up the hill in Paisley High. Storie st is west of Causeyside.


It looks to be the same family I posted in 1841 and 1851.

Perhaps Robert didn't like the sea. :biggrin: Nor Thomas Angel.

Looks as though I won't be tracing Robert to Victoria.
