Dulcie was born in 1903 and it was her first marriage - well that's her maiden name in the reg.

If death reg is correct then parents are Morris and Sarah. Can't find the marriage.

Lots of Sarah HYNES in Lancashire and a few elsewhere in England in 1911 but none in Oldham.

No Morris HYNES in 1911 index and no birth and no death in England.

Parents seem to be Gerald & Mary and not Morris & Sarah so I'd say the Robert we are after was probably not born in England.

A 'Cotton Mule Peicer Operative' would not be a 'Compositor' either.

It's looking more as though Robert was born in N America.

My great grandfather was a compositor who worked in the 1880s for his uncle who was the proprieter of the 'Gladstone Observer' newspaper.

He died in 1951 and this is the last Electoral roll entry I have:

1949 QLD Electoral Roll - Petrie - Windsor
HAMILTON William, Morris st., Wooloowin, manufacturer's agent

I have no idea what he was selling.
