Thanks. That's an interesting fit with the 20 years and 1932 bit. Compositor is more publisher/newspaper rather than designer or dressmaker though.

No other info to help such as age or ... so possibly born England around 1892 - parents Morris and Sarah, if death reg is correct.

I'm wondering if we should look in USA.


Not finding anything apart from the ads in Sydney newspapers in 1930s and 1940s.

One ad in 1939 says established 29 years.

Tried searching for branches of the school in London, Paris and New York.

Tried searching for Robert and Ross and Morris HYNES.

Born abt 1892 and married 1943 suggests it was 2nd marriage.

2nd time around and still stuck.
