The second set of films at the State Library might have more info re the 1810 marriage. If the allegations can be found it will list the vessel.

I can't see a permission to marry in 1810 so it would seen those who arrived 1808 or 1803 would not have had CP by 1810.

That leaves two who arrived earlier.

That fits, it was before the marriage...

I can't find a James who fits. There is no Application to Marry so it would appear James had at least a CP.

There are two more not listed in the Transportation database who arrived before 1810.

That makes 5 to try to sort out.

Oh, 4 years before the First Fleet.

The difficulty with James is that there are a few possibles, including 2 aliases and 2/3 cm's... he may have been a soldier..
