Rose Poole, Cirencester

Hi Rose Poole born 1880-81 B/Rego states Selwin not Selwyn , she marries Charles Poole in 1899 has my Nana September 1899 Cirencester then goes on to have many children, her daughter Irene Frances was born 1917 then a few years later she has Gerald Poole and passes away from complications from Child Birth, Charles remarries a Marjorie Minnie Gwinnet in December 1927 soon after the death of Rose. I have tried so hard to find Gerald's Birth Date and Roses Death Date, have drawn a Brickwall can anyone help so I can finish that part of the Tree Liz Hutchison.

Found a death for a Gerald Edwin Poole district Cirencester year 2004
dob 9 May 1932 could he be your Gerald? though finding a birth in the May 1/4 with mothers maiden name Gwinnet hasnt thrown anything up so he may be a different person.

Theres another Gerald Poole 1932 born Birmingham but has mothers maiden name Poole, the other one that I posted was born Medway.

Do you thik Minnie may have been married before, are there any other children from this marriage?

Just ignore previous posting having a senior moment.

Have looked back to 1924 nothing for Gerald on the birth registration,
nor anything for Rose will keep looking.

Yes this is my Gerald Edwin Poole thanks for that. I think I might have it totally wrong with this Marjorie Gwitten, because Rose Poole died because of the birth of Gerald complications. So he must of married after 1932 had no children but to his new wife, she did have children of her own, think her name might be Ann or Annie.Liz:biggrin:

Do you think the family may have lived in the Birmingham area as there is a death for a Rose Poole 1932 in the Apr/May/June 1/4 1932 she is aged 53!

Just found another Rose A Poole but her age is a bit out (abit to old to have a child?) 1932 Jul/Aug/Sept 1/4 district Cirencester

Hi All, well I got it so wrong, but have it now,so sorry Opps!! Now my Gerald Poole was born June 1919 Gloucester to Rose and Charles Poole Nee Selwyn but is Registered Frederick Gerald Poole, had no idea so that being solved.. So Rose died after June 1919 I have been told that Charles married soon after I found a marriage in September 1919 0f a Charles Poole marrying a Ann Jane Hughes in St. Asaph, Bounderies of Flintshire and Denbighshire. The Family say his second wifes name was Ann but not sure if this could be right as its only 2 months after plus I have not got a clue where Asaph is. Plus still none the wiser when Rose died as if she died from complications from having Frederick Gerald in June it should be around the same time unless its been Mistranscribed, havedone heaps of variations none comes up.Liz
