Royal Navy Telegraphist Douglas Jack Hudson (HMS Liverpool 1940)

#1
We are looking for information/photographs of Douglas Jack Hudson or any of his family.

Douglas died in 1940 from wounds sustained aboard the HMS Liverpool in 1940 during WWII when the Liverpool was struck by an airborne torpedo.

This is all the information I have on Douglas:

He was born in England, I'm not very sure where, but I believe it was in/around Folkestone. He was the son of John Henry Hudson and Elsa Margaret Bowman. I have found Douglas on the Commonwealth War Graves Comission.

He has the following siblings (that I know of):

Poppy Margery Annie Hudson married to Leslie I. Pritchad (I believe she was a nurse during either WWI or WWII but not certain which it was). She went by Margery.
Cyril Hudson
John Henry Hudson (killed aboard HMS Tipperary WWI 1916)
Jeffery John Jellico Hudson

Anyone who has any information to share, I would greatly appreciate it, please email me at
helenmcknight79@hotmail.com

Thanks
Helen
