Death of Mrs. Reginald Palmer.
On Saturday last, death removed a lady well-known in the Binalong and Burrowa districts, in the person of Mrs. Palmer, wife of Mr. Reginald Palmer, of "Rodney," Brennan street Smithfield. The deceased lady was 45 years of age. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Palmer was Miss Carter, daughter of, Mr. and Mrs. John Carter, of Binalong. Two sisters are Mrs. W. O'Connor (Kangiara), and Mrs. W. B. Barnet (Sydney) and one brother Mr. Sep. Carter, of Blayney. She leaves in addition to her sorrowing husband, two daughters and a son, ranging from 8 to 14 years of age.

Mr. John Carter
The death took place on Wednesday,16th inst, at his late residence,147 Annandale Street, Annandale of Mr. John Carter, and early settler of the Binalong district. The late Mr. Carter, who had reached the advanced age of 83 years, was born in Binalong in 1849, and was the eldest son of the late Samuel Carter, and had resided in Binalong for 60 years, prior to going to live in Sydney about 20 years ago, where he invested his money in house property. The deceased was identified with the business life of Binalong for many years, having successfully carried on the business of hotelkeeper and storekeeper during the closing years of the last century. His wife, who was Miss Eliza Beck, of Burrowa, survives him, and also a son, Mr. Septimus Carter, station-master at Blayney, and daughters, Edith (Mrs. W. O'Connor, Burrowa), and Gladys (Mrs. Burnett, Sydney), while a daughter (Mrs. Palmer) predeceased him. The late Mr. Carter leaves brothers, Joseph (Binalong) and Samuel (Sydney), and a sister, Emma (Mrs. Kinnear), while brothers who predeceased him etc

Much regret was expressed in Murrumburrah on Sunday, when the sad news became known that Mr. Joseph Beck, an old and highly- esteemed citizen, had died suddenly about one o'clock that day.
