Hi all Ozzie residents and FH buffs.

I guess I've asked before about these deaths, but I'm asking again in case there is more to be found. Possibly newspapers etc.

Departed for Melbourne in 1959 from Southampton, on the Fairsea.

Address in 1959, is 94 Mount Pleasant Road, Nunawading, Victoria 3131, Australia.

On the Findagrave website, there appears to be a burial @ Woolagong City. NSW. 16 Feb 1975 for a Leonard Burgess. (Not sure if this is he).

Anything else that can be found is much appreciated.

So leonard was 66 when he died in 1975 and Ruby was 73 in 1983. Does that help confirm if these are your people?

Would you like the Death and Funeral notices Steve?

It may be possible to get them from the State Library next week. The library may have microfilms either on site or in off-site storage to request.

Or even from an on-line eResource. Not on-line for Personal Notices for the years needed.

Like most things in life I can't make sense of.:biggrin:

Don't go out of your way Dave, as you may have enough doing your own searches. But if you 'stumble' across anything, it would be welcome.

I have lots of stuff to look up at State Library but I usually plan my visits around the weather so don't know yet what day next week. I'll be using the viewers so it's just a question of finding out if they have the required films. The searching of the film does not take long.
