Rural ancestors.

Hi

Many of us are researching rural ancestors from ag labs, draymen to farmers and lords of the manor. Many humble rural people lived in cottages or small houses and their lives were ruled by daylight and darkness.

I feel this bond with my Suffolk ancestors and my Sussex ones as these two counties are beautiful. Many of my Suffolk ancestors were millers in Hacheston and surrounds and my Sussex ones were grocers, farmers and wheelwrights.

I think many of them lived on vegetables and meat and made cooked stews a lot of the time.
