Russell family from Cumbria

I am currently trying to find any information on the Russell family from Cumbria.

I have John Russell b1829 in Maryport - a Sea Captain, who married Mary Wright b1830 in Glasgow, Scotland.

They had:
Hannah Russell b1855 in Cleator
Sarah Russell b1857 in Harrington
Mary Russell b1858 in Harrington
Janet Russell b1860 in Harrington
Joseph Russell b1862 in Workington
Margaret Jane Russell b1868 in Workington
Catherine Russell b1872 in Workington

Any info would be greatly appreciated...I currently have nothing on Mary Wright, also I have found some info which has led me to believe that Janet b1860 & hubby William McCartney b1853 in Ireland - may have moved to South Africa at some point, where Janet died when she was blown from a bridge??

Could you have a look through the 1881, 1891 & 1901 census plz? John Russell senior is not listed as living with family in 1871, but I'm presuming that's because he was at sea - Mary is listed as a Sea Captains Wife but not listed as a widow.
Also John is not listed as living with his family in 1881, again Mary is listed as a Mariner's wife, but not a widow. In the 1891 census, Mary is listed as living with her daughter Janet, son in law William & their family at 18 Tangier St, Whitehaven. I'm wondering if John has died at this time?? I'm also wondering whether Janet & William were still in the UK in 1901 or if they had already moved to South Africa???

No sign of Janet and John
