Ruth Allen, married George Stevens, 8 Jan 1881 @ Monks Risborough, Bucks.

George Stevens dies 26 Feb 1918 @ Meadle, Monks Risborough. Informant was his married daughter Hilda Coupleditch.

I have been unable to tie down a death, remarriage and no luck in the 1939 registers.

Could some kind people have go, where I've failed.

Last seen in 1911 census, living in Meadle. born 1855.

Her birth was registered as Sarah Angelina Ruth Allen, daughter of Elizabeth Allen. No father listed.

I may have asked before, in previous years.

Can't see anything for a Ruth Stevens but as you said her full name was Sarah Angelina Ruth I have found this possible death

The missing R for Ruth is a bit worrying, but hey, it's very close.

She was Sarah Ann Stevens, b.1855, Aylesbury, married to an Arthur Stevens, a Baker of Cambridge St. Aylesbury, Bucks.

Oh well, back on the case now, but not being lucky.

Well, here is another punt for a death record for her.

As she was born Sarah Angelina Ruth Stevens in 1854, plus she wasn't informant on her hubby's death cert in 1918, I think there is a possible death reg in 1916. Wycombe district.

I know it's a long shot, but could some expert have a peek in the newspapers please.

Should be in or around Meadle, Monks Risborough, Bucks.....Bucks Advertiser or Bucks Herald etc.

I would guess it might be under Sarah Stevens, wife of George.
