Don't know the name of the forner wife or if the first marriage was in England or Australia. Don't have arrival yet.

Have no details re family in England yet.

There are several Samuels in NSW including two convicts and a Samuel in WA.

Eliza Hephzibah 1813, Ann Abigail 1815, Emma 1817, Maria 1820 and George Frederick 1822.

Samuel senior was discharged from his employment as foreman and weaver at a Spitalfields silk works, and way subsequently transported. His wife Elizabeth emigrated to Tasmania in about 1827 to join him, taking her children with her.

It looks as though Elizabeth and children arrived between Samuel getting his ToL in Aug 1826 and July 1827.

Can't find ref to the family in passenger lists.
