Hi Benn,

Have you looked on the 1911 census on the findmypast site. There is a Samuel Longton born abt 1902 living in the Ormskirk district. To find his fathers name the marriage certificate will have his fathers name and occupation,

As for the 1911 census i dont know wat im going wrong but i keep getting the same message We found no records for your search. could you message me as what you typed into the search field.
As so the marrage certificate i do not have this record as my grandmother passed away before i was born and none of my aunties or morther has any records.
I found her marrage on free bmd.
