Hello,

Sarah Ann FITZPATRICK b. abt 1850 but where?

I've looked in Qld., NSW, Tas., SA, Vic. and WA.

- parents possibly Thomas and Sarah

When Sarah married in NSW in 1869 her brother Thomas was listed as her guardian. Certificate does not list parents or even her age.

There are so many possible deaths in NSW for Thomas I've not found the right one yet.

Regards,

Dave

I'll give myself a packet of Tim Tams if someone can solve this. :2fun:

It looks as if the birth is not in Australia or if it was it was not registered.

We can assume for now that parents as listed, Thomas & Sarah are correct.

Possibly an Irish orphan. Too young.

Between 1848 and 1850 several thousand young women, some no more than 14 years old, sailed from Ireland on an ill-fated emigration plan....
I think we are stuck.
