Hi Dave

Milbah Jane & George Webb JENNINGS, not sure what year this covers them living in Coolamon.

http://www.coolamon.nsw.gov.au/files/2675/File/cem240907.xls

No luck finding either couple in 1903 Bland Division which covers (Coolamon/Wagga/Narrandera/Junee)

(Edward died in 1924)
(Milbah died 1909)
(George died 1922)

This is the only one I could find for 1930 & 1936.

1930 N.S.W Electoral Roll – Hume – Wagga Wagga
JENNINGS Annie Frances, Esplanade, Wagga Wagga, home duties

1936 N.S.W Electoral Roll – Hume – Wagga Wagga
JENNINGS Annie Frances, 64 Esplanade, home duties

Sand Directory no individuals, did find (Jennings Bros in the Pastoral Directory in Wagga) ?

1904 NSW Post Office Directory - Pastoral & Agricultural
Station & Run Owners
Raywood - Jennings Bros., Coolamon, 1042 sheep, 14 cattle

Hello crankypants,

I thought we had finished with the children but I missed one.

1851
William Poole 62 a Widow Agr Labourer born Cambridge
lodger
William Jennings 29 born: Haslingfield, Cambridgeshire an Agr. Labourer
Kezia Jennings 29 born: Caxton, Cambridgeshire
CHILDREN
Mary Jennings 8
George Jennings 1

JENNINGS William 30 and family 'Blundell' 1853 2136, 2464
JENNINGS Keziah 30 and family
JENNINGS Mary Anne 10 and family
JENNINGS George 3 and family
JENNINGS Sarah A bv inft and family

That means Mary Ann b. 28 Jun 1843 Chesterton did arrive in Australia.

Sibling Sarah Ann (10 years older) married in 1880 in Albury so that may help us, or maybe not. I can't see a marriag that looks likely. I found these deaths:

6356/1863 HOLLAND MARY WILLIAM KEZIA WINDSOR
13569/1907 PEDROTTA MARY WILLIAM KEZIA GLEBE
11157/1910 NEVELL MARY - KEZIAH ST MARYS

Dave

Hi Dave

Unfortunately even following Sarah's footsteps there are no leads to her sister Mary.
I had a look at those deaths but they don't lead to any marriages, unless she married twice.:'(
If there had of been a death after 1930 would of been a better chance looking in the E/R?:(
I wouldn't want to chance buying three d/c.

cheers

Hello crankypants,

Yes, thanks for looking. It's one that probably will remain the way it is. I'm getting too many already on the list to purchase. The closer ones take priority.

Dave

Hello Steve,

welcome to FHUK.

My connection is via the FURNER family so not that close.

I'll check what I have in my database.

Hello Steve,

Since he was travelling from Adelaide to Sydney I checked arrivals in SA and didn't find him.

http://www.familyhistorysa.info/shipping/passengerlists.html#

It's possible he was on the crew of other vessels in Australian waters so a further search might find more.

http://mariners.records.nsw.gov.au/

There's 1863 - 1880 to account for. :)

Also possible there might be a naturalisation record somewhere.

http://www.theshipslist.com/ships/australia/SAgermanindex.htm

You have to know the vessel or the year or search all of them.

Regards,

Dave
