Hi Bushy

It has taken me ages to get back into the Census. You are quite right it was 45 for Annie. It looked like a 2 and transrcribed as a 2

Hi Bushy

I am sorry to have given you a fright !!

I usually read the transcribed records first, and then the original. I had to go into the original as they had not put Sarah as a Widow, but it was on the original page.
When you queried the age and I put Sarah back on again , it didn't even come up !!! So I then put in Louisa and that worked. I must find out how to put in the reference no into The G......... it would save a lot of time.

I hope all is well now

Hi Bushy
I don't know whether you have them in 1881 , so here goes. It took me ages, as I could only find them with Louisa name, but a surprise in store !!

1881 RG11/0105/F30/p59
91 Cambridge Terrace, Hanover Sq. Middx

William 69 Head Painter b.Clapham Surrey
ANN 64 Wife b. Chelsea
Ann 34 dau b. Chelsea Dressmaker
Louise 32 dau b. Chelsea Dressmaker

Small Henry 41 Lodger Cabinet maker b.Chelsea

Now you will have to sort out the wife. Did Sarah call herself Ann at one point or did Ann die ? My lunchtime calls at the moment, but I will see if I can find her at some point

Dear Bushy

I have unearthed some deaths that MIGHT be possibles. You may know that Sarah was also Ann, or you might not.
The possibility is that she may have died, if so

Deaths
1887 Jan - Mar Ann Garner 67 Holborn 1b 469

1890 Apr - June Ann Garner 72 St Saviours 1d 16?

I did also find another death
1890 Jan -Mar Arthur Garner age 0 Chelsea 1a 332 or maybe 382

These deaths are the only possible ones between 1881 and 1891 . Is it possible that one of the daughters had a child. ?

I have also looked through the possible re marriage of William, but I will not put them up, unless you ask for them at this point. I do not even know what certificates you may already have.
