I don't know how reliable those parents names are on Sarah Ann's death reg.

Quite curious how Joseph Pate is a guardian.

Joseph PATE married Eleanor FARMER. Sister Emma FARMER married Samuel ADLEM (his second). Samuel's son Henry William, from first marriage, married Sarah Ann.

I've searched TROVE for Thomas and there are several hits but nothing that helps.
