Hi All,
I"m having great difficulty in finding my GGrandparents in the 1901 Census. In 1891 I have found them lodging with another family in Bartons New Row in Leigh Lancs. In 1901 however, there is to trace:confused:
The family members are William Burrows b 1871 in Abram Lancs, Mary Jane Burrows b 1868 in Haydock Warrington and Sarah Burrows b 1889 in Leigh.
I would really appreciate some help on this one as it"s giving me a severe case of the Screaming Ab Dabs  not to mention Eye Strain, Backache and extreme isolation

Sorry Mo I cannot find them on A******y, also checked 1901 census online and nothing there, tries surname variations and nothing likely showing.
Hi Lincoln Lad, Thanks for trying anyway, at least I know now that it"s not me going Ga-Ga in my Old Age, although there are some who would say that"s debatable
Cheers, Mo xx

Hello Everyone,
I know I havn't been around for a while but just like a bad smell, here I am again:confused: I have still had no luck with the Burrows lot and I just got cheesed off and left it alone for a while. Plus, I have been pretty active on a local Website that has been set up over the past 4 months:)
In 1901 the Burrows were a family of 7. There was William b 1871 in Abram
Mary Jane b 1868 in Haydock,Sarah b 1889 in Leigh, Ann b 1891 in Leigh, Albert b 1893 in Leigh, Mary b 1897 in Parr(St. Helens) and Henrietta b 1899 in Earlestown. Their next child Martha Ann was born in 1902 in Parr. All I can think of is that the constant moving around must have been connected to William's job as a miner:-\ The next three kids were William b West Derby 1905,
Gladys b 1907 Leigh and finally Ethel b 1910. In the 1911 Census they are living in Norbury St. in Leigh, where they lived until their deaths in the 1950's.
But 1901:confused: Not A Trace. Maybe they were in between moves and got missed off the Census. Anyway, after all the moving around with so many kids in tow,no wonder they stayed put for the last 40 years of their lives:eek:
