Saxe name in 1930

New member
Looking for info on my grandfather (who passed away recently). Ive only just received his birth cert which has his mothers name and address at time of birth (he never knew any of this stuff as was put in an orphange). Wanting to know what the Saxe name in 1930 meant?
Thanks :-*
