I ordered a 1974 death death cert at 13.12pm it was despatched 10 minutes later via airmail.

I wonder when the GRO will offer this service. Never, I guess.

I ordered 4 certificates from the GRO on the 9th. Got them on the day they said with was yesterday 16th. They were pdf copies at £7.00, though would prefer the paper copies, but being £11.00 per copy went for the cheaper option.

I have to log into the GRO to be able to download a PDF. Yes, they email when it's ready to download.

Oh, yes. It's quicker for PDF's..............But for the actual paper cert, it's ages via snail mail.
