Good Morning,

Nearly 75 years ago my Grandfather and his 6 crew members were all killed when they were shot down over Germany on an operation or Frankfurt on 12 September 1944. Over the years I have had some success researching the crew, their squadron and even managed to track down a couple of descendants in Australia and Canada. Unfortunately the families of the three English crew members are proving more elusive. It is possible that they no longer have any living relatives - if that is the case, at least I will know to stop looking.

With the 75th anniversary fast approaching, I thought I would give it another go.

I would really appreciate any help tracing the relatives of the following three men.

Sgt Alan Richard LEWENDON 1608368 RAFVR, Flight Engineer, son of Frederick and Nellie Elizabeth Lewendon of Guildford Surrey. Born approx 1924

Sgt Stanley ORMONDROYD, Wireless Operator, RAFVR 1520717, Son of Smith and Annie Ormondroyd of Stoney Croft Liverpool. Born Approx 1921

Sgt Joseph Wilkinson, RAFVR, Air Gunner, 1590798, Son of Joseph and Lily Wilkinson of Morley Leeds Yorkshire. Born Approx 1924

Thanks in advance.
