Searching for family of John Moodie, born December 10, 1810 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was christened Jan 5, 1811, St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh Midlothian, Scotland. He joined the English army at age 18 and served in Calcutta, India. He later moved to Canada and married Agnus Stevens Hall. I have been unable to determine if there were additional sisters or brothers of John and exactly who his parents might have been. Any help would be appreciated.
