Hi

If i want to access or get a copy of my great grandfathers war or service record, do i need to write to the National Archives in the UK.

Or can i look them up and order online like i can the medal card??

Walter Richard Jeffrey was his name Ron.....born in Cambridgeshire but maybe joined up in Baldock......Justine mentions it on another thread in the photo section.

I have asked on the war forum for info regarding his war record etc.

Hope Justine dosn't mind!
