MORRIS.-On the 7th December, at his residence, Shield-street, Flemington, John Morris, boot manufacturer (late Dundee, Scotland), beloved husband of Catherine Morris, beloved father of Mrs. David Miller, Mrs. William Winsor, Alfred and Edmund Morris.
(Interred privately, Melbourne Cemetery, December 9).

Possible, I only checked for those next to each other [as, say a family], if I'd looked a bit further she is only 2 below Alfred. That said, odd that they aren't listed in order, next to each other as you may expect with a married couple :unsure:

Perhaps Rita arrived single and married in Vic. in 1890.

Alfred married in Vic. in 1890.

No death in Vic. 1888 - 1890 for a Rita Morris.
